January, 2024: See Beneath releases it's first two resource guides to support families navigating the challenges associated with navigating a new diagnosis. Check out our Resources page to view the guides.
September, 2023: See Beneath launches a new Facebook Group to be a a safe space to engage with others who are going through similar experiences related to their children's development. Join now: Aiko & Egor: A community for family members/carers of neurodiverse kids. March, 2023: See Beneath releases the Aiko & Egor: Animation 4 Autism Episode 6 Skills Game! This new Skills Game provides opportunities for children to practice responding appropriately to the words and actions of characters. This is a social skill we call responding to less specific commands and this learning supplements the content within an Episode 6 scene called "Playtime." Download the app on the App Store and Google Play Store. November-December, 2022: See Beneath releases two pilot episodes of Aiko & Egor 4 Families. This is a new exploratory format that showcases how our content has evolved over the past 10 years and includes messages from two amazing individuals sharing about their experiences. You can watch the videos on our Aiko & Egor YouTube Channel. January-December, 2022: See Beneath celebrates our 10th year anniversary since we officially became a nonprofit organization in 2012! It has been an incredible 10 year journey. To learn more and watch how our content has evolved, check out our 10th Anniversary video. September-December, 2021: See Beneath releases four episodes of the new limited series Learning Emotions with Aiko & Egor with the new Aiko & Egor Puppets! The videos model conversations about emotions and opportunities to identify emotions and are available on our Aiko & Egor YouTube Channel. February, 2021: See Beneath releases the Aiko & Egor: Animation 4 Autism Episode 5 Skills Game! This new Skills Game provides opportunities for children to practice identifying emotions to supplement the Social and Emotional Learning content in Episode 5. The game builds off one of our favorite Episode 5 scenes called "Moody Monkeys," in which the lovable sea monkeys pair up with Aiko & Egor to help kids learn basic emotions. December, 2020: See Beneath raises over $14K to create a new video series called Learning Emotions with Aiko & Egor with the new Aiko & Egor Puppets! Check out the campaign here. July, 2020: See Beneath receives its 3rd grant from the Dr. Seuss Foundation, this time for $5,000 to support program development. February, 2020: See Beneath releases the Aiko & Egor: Animation 4 Autism Episode 4 Skills Game! The new game is a fun and interactive arcade swimming game that allows the child to direct the characters to collect sea stars while avoiding obstacles. The game is designed to practice fine motor skills and promote engagement. Download the app on the App Store and Google Play Store. March, 2019: See Beneath receives its second award from The Pollination Project and is named a TPP Foundation Impact Grantee! Check out this Map of TPP Grantees. February, 2019: See Beneath releases the Aiko & Egor: Animation 4 Autism Episode 3 Skills Game! The new game is based on the family favorite Memory Game or Concentration, where adult and child take turns flipping over cards to find matches. The game promotes engagement, turn taking, and identification and matching of various objects. Download the app on the App Store and Google Play Store. February, 2018: The Aiko & Egor: Animation 4 Autism app is featured by Autism Parenting Magazine's Best Autism Apps list. Check out the full list on the Autism Parenting Magazine website. January, 2018: See Beneath releases the Aiko & Egor: Animation 4 Autism Episode 2 Skills Game! The new game builds on the matching and object identification skills from the Episode 1 Skills Game and focuses on receptive labels. Download the app on the App Store and Google Play Store. October, 2017: See Beneath releases the Aiko & Egor: Animation 4 Autism Episode 1 Skills Game! Skills Games allow kids to practice the developmental skills that they've learned while watching the Aiko & Egor videos and focuses on simple matching skills and shapes, consistent with the developmental level of Episode 1. on the App Store and Google Play Store. July, 2017: See Beneath receives its 2nd $2,500 grant from the Dr. Seuss Foundation for nonprofit development and operations! June, 2017: See Beneath releases a new version of the Aiko & Egor: Animation 4 Autism app that incorporates feedback from users to create a data dashboard and a new setting that restricts access to the Learn Together feature. April, 2017: See Beneath hosts the 2nd Annual Animation 4 Autism Day event during Autism Awareness month - this time at Dragonfly Farm in the Bay Area. March/April, 2017: For the 5th straight year, See Beneath has a resource booth at the NFAR Race or Autism and Act Today for Military Families 5k/10k Run/Walk. February, 2017: The See Beneath team has a resource table at the ANOVA Autism in the Family Conference and has the opportunity to meet Temple Grandin!
