We have prepared this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, use, protect and disclose information and data when you use the Company website ("Site") and Company services, including any software, mobile and tablet applications, products, devices or other services offered by Company from time to time and other services offered through third parties integrating Company functionality (collectively, "Services"). Aiko & Egor: Animation 4 Autism (“App”) is our first mobile and tablet application. Services include our App, but sometimes the App is referred to separately in this policy. "You" refers to you as a user of the Site or Services.
See Beneath, Inc. is a California-based nonprofit and our Site and Services are offered to further our mission. We highly value our user’s privacy and we are dedicated to treating your personal information with care and respect. We have designed our Privacy Policy to provide transparency into our data practices in an easy to read and understand format. Our Site and Services are intended to be used by family members, guardians, teachers, tutors, interventionists, or anyone who supports a child. App is intended to be used by the same people mentioned above with a child to supplement the child’s engagement and learning. In addition, our App is primarily intended to be used in a home or therapeutic program setting, but may also be used within a preschool or K-12 setting. If used in a preschool or K-12 setting, we will partner with the education institution to ensure that all applicable laws and policies pertaining to student and family data, personal information, and privacy are followed.

BY USING THE SITE, SERVICES, OR APP YOU CONSENT TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY.
1) Managing Your Information Preferences
You can always review, correct, or update your Personal Information by changing the relevant settings in your Company, Services, or App account. You can opt out of receiving certain emails by changing notification settings, clicking the unsubscribe link provided in an email, or by emailing us at [email protected].
2) Information We Collect
Personal Information
We collect information that personally identifies you, which may include, but is not limited to your first name, last name, email address, phone number, or mailing address that is associated with donations you may make to Company or user accounts you may create within our Site or Services ("Personal Information"). The decision to provide this information is optional. However, if you choose not to provide the requested information, you may not be able to use some or all of the features of the Site or Services. Our App requires a registered User Account to begin engaging with the content. This account creation process requires third party authentication (Facebook, Google, Apple, etc.) or account creation through entry of first name, last name, email, phone number, and password and then third-party authentication through a text verification. From the user account creation process, we only store first name, last name, and email address (learn more in the User Accounts section of this policy).
Except in connection with your order to purchase Services (such as our App, or in-app purchases within the App, through the App Store or Google Play Store) or provide a tax-deductible donation on Company’s Site or affiliate’s website, we do not collect any credit card or other financial account information. We also collect Personal Information from you when you access the Services and/or other parts of the Site and elect to provide Personal Information, such as signing up for our E-Newsletter. We store all Personal Information on a secure admin data portal owned by the Company or a secured third-party account (such as Mailchimp or Donorbox). Personal Information is only collected if it is necessary for the Site or Services to function as intended and will never be shared to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes or sold to third parties.
App also includes optional surveys, which ask users to provide Personal Information and track data based upon their child’s usage and response to the App. Personal Information that may be requested includes, but is not limited to, your child’s age, child’s responses to the App, and your child’s behaviors while using and not using the App. All Personal Information collected through App surveys is collected for the benefit of the user (to track progress over time through your data portal), to share non-identifiable general information about App usage, and for Company to improve the application for other users.
Company will never modify a user’s data or Personal Information unless directly requested to do so by that user. Users may email [email protected] to request deletion of their own user data or Personal Information. If requested to through any communication channel, Company will delete a user’s data or Personal Information.
Our Site, Services, and App may collect certain additional information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device’s unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, the country you are located in, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the application.
Usage Data and Site Activity
We automatically collect information regarding the actions you take on the Site and Services ("Usage Data"). For example, each time you use the Site we may automatically collect the type of Web browser you use, your operating system, your Internet Service Provider, your IP address, the pages you view, and the time and duration of your visits to the Site. This Usage Data may be associated with your account, but we do not disclose the associated information to third parties, except for the use of Google Analytics for tracking Site and Services usage data, and the Apple App Store and Google Play Store for tracking usage of our App. In addition, App tracks which video content you watch and for how long. We may store such Usage Data itself and/or such information may be included in databases owned and maintained by Company affiliates, agents or service providers. We may use such information and pool it with other information to track, for example, the total number of visitors to our Site, the number of visitors to each page of our Site, the number of users of our App, etc. We use this information to help us understand how people use the Site and Services, and to enhance the Site and Services.
Cookies and Web Beacons
We use cookies (a small text file placed on your computer to identify your computer and browser). We may also use Web beacons (a file placed on a website that monitors usage). We use cookies and Web beacons to improve the experience of the Site and Services, such as pre-populating your username for easier login. We do not use cookies or Web beacons to collect Personal Information. Most Web browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. At this time, Company does not recognize automated browser signals regarding tracking, including “do-not-track” signals. You can remove persistent cookies and change your privacy preferences by following directions provided in your Internet browser’s “help” directory. However, certain features of the Site or Services may not work if you delete or disable cookies. Some of our Service Providers may use their own cookies and Web beacons in connection with the services they perform on our behalf, as further explained below.
3) Children's Privacy
We are in compliance with the requirements of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received Personal Information from a child under the age of 13, we will delete such information from our records. If you think that your child has provided this kind of information through our Site or Services, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will promptly remove such information from our records.

4) How We Use Information and When We May Share and Disclose Information Generally
We may use your Personal Information for the purpose for which it was provided, including without limitation for the purposes described further below:
· Provision and Monitoring of the Services: We will use your Personal Information to provide you with access to and to support your use of the Services and to monitor your use of the Services. We will also give you the opportunity to store, review and edit Personal Information and other information that you enter on the Site or through our Services.
· Questions and Requests: If you contact us by e-mail or otherwise, we may use the Personal Information you provide to answer your question or resolve your problem.
· Contacting You About Other Products, Services and Events: If you opt-in or include your email when signing up for Services, Company and/or third parties may use your Personal Information to contact you in the future to tell you about products, services and events that may be of interest to you through our E-Newsletter. This data may be compiled and analyzed on an aggregate basis, and Company may share this data with advertisers, researchers, business partners, publications, and other third parties. · Obtaining Feedback: We may contact you at the email you provide when signing up for Services to obtain your feedback about the Services in order to improve Services for all users. Research and feedback collection is incredibly important to us to ensure we are providing high-quality products that meet our users needs.
· Service Improvement: We may use your Personal Information, aggregated Personal Information and other non-personally-identifiable information collected through the Site and Services to help us improve the content and functionality of the Site, to better understand our users and to improve the Services.
5) Third Party Services, Applications, and Authentication
Through the Site or Services, you may elect to access third-party services and applications, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social networks. App also requires third-party authentication through third-party services, such as Facebook, Google, Apple, or verification through text message by using a platform called Nexmo or a similar service. When you access third-party services, you may be able to import information from those other services and applications and share content with those services. Some of those third-party services may also provide us with information from your accounts, which may enable us to enhance and personalize your use of the Site and Services. If you elect to enable such third-party services or applications, the information you share with such third-party services and applications will be subject to their privacy policies and your privacy settings.
Third parties may collect, but we do not authorize them to collect, personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use the Site or Services. Company’s Privacy Policy does not apply to other advertisers or websites. Thus, we are advising you to consult the respective Privacy Policies of these third-party ad servers for more detailed information. It may include their practices and instructions about how to opt-out of certain options.
6) User Accounts
App requires users to create a user account by registering with first name, last name, email, phone number, and password. Or, as mentioned above, users have the option of account creation by using third-party services and third-party authentication, such as Facebook, Google, and Apple. If the account is registered with an email, account creation requires entry of first name, last name, email, phone number, and password and then third-party authentication through text verification. From user account creation, we only store first name, last name, email address, and date/time of account creation. Your phone number is only used for text verification.
Company does not currently, but may in the future, provide managed accounts for a parent, teacher, school, or school district in order to use App with a child in a setting outside of the home. Users cannot interact with other users via Company Services or App.
7) Service Providers
From time to time, we may establish a business relationship with other businesses that we believe to be trustworthy and have privacy practices consistent with ours ("Service Providers"). For example, we may contract with Service Providers to provide certain services, such as hosting and maintenance, data storage and management, and marketing and promotions. We only provide our Service Providers with the information necessary for them to perform these services on our behalf. Each Service Provider must agree to use reasonable security procedures and practices, appropriate to the nature of the information involved, in order to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Service Providers are prohibited from using Personal Information other than as specified by Company.
8) Other Transfers
We may share Personal Information and Usage Data with businesses controlling, controlled by, or under common control with Company. If Company is merged, acquired, or sold, or in the event of a transfer of some or all of our assets or equity, we may disclose or transfer Personal Information and Usage Data in connection with such transaction.
9) Compliance with Laws and Law Enforcement
Company will cooperate with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We may disclose Personal Information and any other content and information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties if, in our discretion, we believe it is necessary or appropriate in order to respond to legal requests (including court orders and subpoenas), to protect the safety, property or rights of Company or of any third party, to prevent or stop any illegal, unethical, or legally actionable activity, or to comply with the law.
10) Be Careful When You Share Information with Others
Please be aware that whenever you share information on a publicly available page or any other public forum on the Site or Services, others may access that information. In addition, please remember that when you share information in any other communications with third parties, that information may be passed along or made public by others. 11) Exclusions
This Privacy Policy shall not apply to any unsolicited information you provide to Company through the Site or Services or through any other means. This includes, but is not limited to, information posted to any public areas of the Site, such as bulletin boards, any ideas for new products or modifications to existing products, and other unsolicited submissions (collectively, “Unsolicited Information”). All Unsolicited Information shall be deemed to be non-confidential and Company shall be free, and you hereby grant Company the right, to reproduce, use, disclose, and distribute such Unsolicited Information to others without limitation or attribution.
12) Security
We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the confidentiality and security of Personal Information and other information transmitted to us. Security protections in place for users' Personal Information and any other data and information transmitted to us are based on industry standards and best practices. Authentication methods are provided by the company to prevent fraudulent access. For access to user data, we use complex passwords and failed login lockouts to protect user information.
All measures are taken to ensure data security, including data encryption during transmission and storage, however no data transmission over the Internet or other network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect information transmitted on or through the Site or Services, we cannot and do not guarantee the security of any information you transmit on or through the Site or Services, and you do so at your own risk. In the event of a data breach, we will notify all impacted users through email, notify all relevant legal authorities, and take all necessary steps to remedy the impact of the data breach on users.

Our Site and Services may contain links or integrate with other websites and online services, or allow others to send you such links. Company is not responsible or liable for any damage or loss related to your use of any third-party website or online service. 14) Where We Store Our Information
Your information collected through Company’s Site or Services may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which we or our Service Providers maintain facilities. We or our Service Providers may transfer information that we collect about you, including Personal Information across borders and from your country or jurisdiction to other countries or jurisdictions around the world.
